''What a beautiful cottage and location! We've made the best of some wet weather and managed some lovely walks from our doorstep. We walked up to the top from the back garden, High dam, The Swan, Lakeside and through the woods. The kitchen is really well equipped and it is a lovely social space. The children loved The Snug and it really did feel like a home-from-home! Thank you <3''

''A Place to Remember - We loved every minute of it. The house is warm, well furnished and very comfortable with every mod con we could have wanted. There is also an abundance of local walks, sailing on Windermere and many excellent pubs and restaurants. We will go again every year or more if possible ''
